Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Willow: Gentle Habits ("Willow", "the app"), a mobile application provided by kodmap. By downloading or using Willow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Wellbeing notice. Willow is a habit tracker and a self-reflection tool, not a medical device and not a source of medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. Its habit-strength score, streaks, insights and mood correlations are simple arithmetic over what you typed in — they are not a diagnosis, an assessment, or a measure of your health. If you are struggling with your mental or physical health, please talk to a qualified professional.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Willow for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and to your app store's terms.

2. Subscriptions & billing

  • Willow's core tracker is free, including data export. An optional Willow Pro purchase unlocks additional features (unlimited habits, deeper insights, flexible goals, multiple reminders per habit, theme packs, scheduled local backups).
  • Pro is offered as monthly and annual subscriptions and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region and over time.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by the app store under its own policy.
  • Purchases made on the App Store are additionally governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement.

3. Your content

Everything you enter — habit names, notes, why you started, moods and your history — is yours, and it stays on your device. We claim no ownership of it and we never receive it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; see Profile → Your data → Export backup.

4. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, use it unlawfully, or attempt to circumvent purchase verification. Willow is a single-user personal tool; do not use it to record information about other people without their knowledge.

5. Intellectual property

Willow, its name, its willow-mark logo, its design, copy and code are owned by kodmap and protected by copyright and trade-mark law. These Terms grant you a licence to use the app, not any rights in it.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Willow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Because your data lives only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. We are not liable for data lost through device failure, device loss, uninstalling the app, an operating-system update, or a restore from a backup file you supplied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, kodmap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Willow. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using Willow at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate the licence if you materially breach these Terms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app changes. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
